AU$ All prices are in Australian dollars.
Of course! We have an online tool that will give you a price estimate for how much your car is worth. It is called PricesPeoplePay. Simply enter your rego and a few other details and you will be given a valuation estimate for your vehicle.

With Pickles, you can sell a variety of items including:

There are two ways you can sell through Pickles: Getting a purchase price or selling on consignment.

  1. Purchase price means that Pickles buys the car off you - transferring ownership from the customer to Pickles.
  2. Selling on consignment means that the customer still owns the car but is using Pickles as a service to put their car on auction. To do this, the customer becomes a vendor.
No, unfortunately we are unable to facilitate a traditional trade in service right now. However, we can purchase your car using our DIYinspect app.
Absolutely! Pickles provides a platform for selling novated cars, offering convenience and accessibility for both sellers and buyers.
If you would prefer a purchase price, please download the DIYinpect App. From there, please submit an inspection through the app. The DIYinspect team will get back to you within 1 business day with a purchase price.
It can take up to 1 week for the car to be prepared and lotted into auction.
It can take up to 7-10 business days for the sale/auction to be reconciled and for you to receive your payment. You shall receive account sale documents via email that outlines the sale price minus the commission, the title check and the detailing fee, and if applicable, transport fee.
Commission will be charged at 4.4% of the sale price (with a minimum commission of $550 inc GST), title check fee of $33.00 and a detailing fee of $104.50 (Detailing fee of $440 inc GST for NT) including a roadworthy certificate fee will also be charged if completed.
If the vehicle hasn't received any bids or if bidding hasn't met the reserved price, the vehicle will then be lotted into another sale/auction.

If the vehicle receives a bid that is under the reserve price, this is a referral. You will be contacted by a Pickles staff member to see if you would like to proceed with the referral or if you would like to continue lotting it. If you would like to collect the car and remove it from sale, the car can be collected pending payment of the title check and detailing fee.
In order for us to sell the vehicle on consignment, Pickles will pay the remainder of the finance off. This will remove the encumbrance on the PPSR.

If the residual amount is higher than the 'low' estimate provided, this car will have a gap payment. The customer must pay the gap payment to Pickles before dropping the vehicle at your closest motor vehicle branch.

Absolutely! Please check out our selling page for the two selling options.
