Ex-Military Auctions FAQs

Yes, anyone can bid on an ex-Military asset. We would recommend signing up to our ex-Military newsletter to get notified of our auctions each month.

Thurgoona:
For our assets located in Thurgoona, yes, you can view trucks, trailers and vehicles on Monday and Tuesday from 8am – 3pm, on the week of the auction. We are unable to offer viewing of General Goods.​

Pickles Branches:
For assets located at our Pickles branches, you can inspect by appoinment only. Please contact us at info@pickles.com.au for more information.

Payment for ex-Military purchases is required in full within 48 hours of the sales ending.

Full payment for the asset must be received before you are able to collect your purchase.

Pickles branches: Please present the zero balance invoice upon collection. Your purchase must be collected within 3 business days. If you are unable to collect within this timeframe, please contact us at info@pickles.com.au and include your Client ID, when you can collect and the asset number of your purchase.

Thurgoona: Collection is available Monday to Wednesday from 8am to 3pm after the sale concludes.

No, Pickles does not organise/arrange transport for ex-Military assets from Thurgoona.
Transport is the responsibility of the buyer to arrange. We would recommend you contact one of the following companies:

This changes each month based on customer demand so we are unable to calculate it at this time.

This means that there is no key or door locks on the asset.

Yes we definitely can. We have boxes and a pallet wrap machine to do this. If you would like to organise this, please contact us at info@pickles.com.au and we will follow up your request.

Our Ex-Military auctions run on a monthly basis and they last for 6 days.

Yes, with an unresisted vehicle permit.

No, assets cannot be stored on site and must be collected in the allocated timeslot.

No, due to the vendors audit process all assets have to be sold in auction.

All ex-Military assets are unreserved.
