AU$ All prices are in Australian dollars.

Yes! All you need to do is create a MyPickles account before you can start bidding.

We have daily online and live auctions as well as a Fixed Price channel. Online auctions are eBay-style where you can bid on a majority of our assets. At the end of the auction, the bidder with the highest amount wins the asset. To bid in a live auction, you will need to download the Pickles Live App. A live auction features an auctioneer and live bidding in our app. Fixed Price is where you can buy something at a set cost.

To be announced, assets are not yet available.

Referred is when the highest bid did not reach the reserve price and so it is referred to the vendor who will decide whether they wish to accept or decline the highest bid, or make a counter offer.

This occurs when the highest bid did not reach the reserve price. In this situation, the asset is held back and may be placed in another auction at a later time or the vendor may decide to remove the asset from auction.

This is available for industrial sales/auctions only.

Yes, we can definitely organise this. There is an additional fee to be an absentee or phone bidder, which is $150. To be a phone bidder, you will have to do a few things: Register for the sale via your MyPickles account Email your Client Number and Asset Number to info@pickles.com.au with the subject line 'Absentee/Phone Bidder Application'

  1. Buyer number
  2. Sale number you were bidding in
  3. The asset number or year, make & model of asset
  4. The amount you placed while bidding
  5. The reason for the accidental bid

Yes, you can set a Max Bid when bidding at in a Pickles Live or Pickles Online auction.
You can do this by manually entering your highest bid number next to the 'Bid Now' button on the item you're interested in. A max bid is the highest price you are willing to bid on an item, but it will only put down what the next increment is. However, if anyone bids against you, the system will automatically bid against them on your behalf, all the way up until your max bid.

For example: You are interested in a car and set a max bid to a number you're comfortable paying for the vehicle. The system will bid in the sale on your behalf in small increments. It will not exceed your set limit.

The Pickles Online bidding system will attempt to have the buyer win the auction at the lowest price possible. Therefore if their maximum bid meets the vendor's reserve price then the current bid will increase to the reserve amount so that they are guaranteed to win the item.

We want to understand if it was an error on our end or if the buyer made a mistake. If we made a mistake, please raise it with the Vendor Management Team.
