Buyers can also purchase Fixed Price vehicles online 24/7 via our website or in person at our Moonah facility.

  2. Public Online Auction – this weekly auction is Tasmania’s leading auction of Government vehicles followed by Fleet and other vehicles. All Government vehicles have been inspected by the RACT to provide buyer confidence and are generally late model, have low kilometres, are well maintained and have full service history. Buyers can choose from a wide range of passenger, light commercial & 4WD vehicles, with many offered for sale with registration and still covered by manufacturer warranty.

Major clients include the Tasmanian Government, Tasmanian Networks, Hydro Tasmania, University of Tasmania, local councils including Hobart City Council and Glenorchy City Council and various Fleet and finance companies.

Online Inspection Only.

Note: Vehicle registration cannot be transferred to a buyer who resides or whose address is in a state or territory that is different to the state or territory where the vehicle is registered. In the event a buyer’s residence or address is in another state or territory to where the vehicle is registered, the plates and registration for the vehicle will be removed and cancelled respectively.
