Happy International Women’s Day! Pickles is lucky to be powered by some incredible women behind the scenes of the successful services and subsidiary businesses that we operate across Australia. To attract the strong female workforce to Pickles, we offer a range of specialised initiatives that support our women in the workplace.

8 WEEKS PAID MATERNITY LEAVE
We want to support our current female workforce and the women who join us in the future. This includes providing 2 months of paid maternity leave after 2 years of continuous service, so that we can support our employees when they need it the most.
EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP)
Pickles takes pride in supporting women and their families, so we provide free and easily accessible counselling services to ensure that we are keeping our team members mentally and emotionally well. The professional counselling service is available to Pickles employees and their immediate families, and is free and confidential.
TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Pickles has a long history with many industries that were historically inaccessible to women. We understand that creating a company of equity means providing workplace training and development for industry-specific skills. This initiative takes many forms, including paid university opportunities, skills training and mentorship for women across Pickles.
WELLBEING LEAVE
One of the ways we support and celebrate our staff is to offer Wellbeing Leave, which consists of 5 additional days of salaried leave per year to employees after they reach 2 years of continuous service.
