COUPE
The coupe body style tends to be used in luxury and sports models, for its aesthetics and aerodynamics. The coupe first appeared in the 1800s and technically has less than 33 cubic feet of rear interior volume.

- Generally, 2 main seats in the front and sometimes 2 smaller seats in the back
- Sleek, sloping roof

HATCHBACK
Compact, stylish and with a model to suit every budget, hatchbacks are a popular car with a characteristic boot. Traditionally they are low to the ground and are good value for money. They tend to be economical and cheap to run.
Defining features:
- Boot lid opens upward to a compact trunk space
- Roof curves down into the boot lid
- 2- or 4-seat doors
- Seats can be folded down to create more space
